Recipe: Spaghetti Pie

Ingredients

spaghetti 6 oz
margarine 2 TBSP
parmesan 1/3 c
eggs 2 ea
ground beef 1 lb
chopped onion 1/2 c
stewed tomatoes 8 oz
tomato paste 6 oz
sugar 1 TBSP
oregano 1/2 TBSP
garlic salt 1/2 tsp
cottage cheese 8 oz
shredded mozzarella 5 oz

Instructions
1) Preheat oven to 350

2) Cook spaghetti and drain

3) Stir margarine, parmesan cheese and eggs (beaten) into hot spaghetti

4) Press spaghetti into buttered 10 inch glass pie plate and form into crust

5) In saucepan, brown hamburger. Add onion and green pepper until tender; drain off the fat

6) Stir stewed tomatoes (cut into chunks) and juice, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt into hamburger. Heat over medium until heated through

7) Spread cottage cheese on spaghetti crust; top with meat sauce. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until heated through

8) Sprinkle 5 oz mozzarella cheese; bake until cheese melts.
