Layered Bean Dip


Ingredients

Ingredient Qty.   Unit
fat free refried beans 16   oz
black beans, rinsed and drained 15   oz
reduced fat sour cream 1/2   c
salsa 1   c
shredded reduced fat mexican blend or cheddar cheese 1   c
chopped cilantro to taste 1   ea


Instructions

1) Preheat to 375

2) Combine beans; spread into 8 inch square baking dish. Spread sour cream over beans, top with salsa and cheese. Cover, bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Uncover, bake 10 minutes or until bubbly. Garnish with cilantro if desired.

3) Story: This was Annie’s go-to covered dish in college. It is habit-forming.


Yield: 64 square inches
