Tomatillo Salsa


Ingredients

Ingredient Qty.   Unit
husked and chopped tomatillos 12   ea
minced cloves of garlic 3   ea
serrano chiles, stems removed, diced 3   ea
diced onion 1/4   c
chopped cilantro 1/4   c
lime juice 2   tsp
sugar 1   pinches
salt to taste 1   ea
peanut oil 2   TBSP


Instructions

1) Throw all the ingredients except for the peanut oil into the blender, and blend until it has a smooth consistency.

2) In a pan, heat up the peanut oil, and pour the blended salsa into the pan and cook, stirring for about five minutes.

3) Can serve hot or cold.


Yield: 2 cups
