Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Ingredients
Instructions 1) Heat oven to 350 2) Rehydrate the raisins by soaking them in warm water (or rum, for a different flavor) 3) Beat together butter and sugars until creamy 4) Add eggs and vanilla; beat well 5) Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well 6) Stir in oats and raisins; mix well 7) Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet 8) Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown 9) Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack 10) For bars: Bake 30-35 minutes in ungreased 13 x 9 inch metal baking pan.
